2023 Ram 1500
The Ram 1500 has all the excellent features that we’ve come to expect from the Ram brand. We found some nice additions to the 2023 model. You can now purchase your 1500 Ram with a upgraded 30.48cm instrument panel and the 2023 Ram 1500 is also now available in the Limited Elite luxury edition. There’s also a host of optional upgrades that you can purchase to make your new 1500 Ram unique and special to your personal specifications.
Models and Expected Pricing
In 2023, the Ram 1500 will be available in eight models. You can choose to purchase the entry-level Tradesman, the Tradesman HFE, the Big Horn (or Lone Star), the Limited Longhorn, or the top-level TRX.
Exact pricing hasn’t been released yet. However, we expect that the 2023 Ram 1500 will have a somewhat higher starting price of the current 2022 Ram 1500 ($44,945). Contact South Trail Chrysler for more information on precise starting prices.
Performance and Available Engines
You’ll be able to purchase the 1500 in four engine types: the V6 Pentastar 3.6-litre (305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque), the EcoDiesel V6 3.0-litre (260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque), the fuel efficient HEMI V8 5.7-litre (395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque), and the HEMI V8 6.2-litre engine (702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque).
The V8 5.7-litre is more fuel efficient as it’s configured with variable valve (VVT) technology. This enables the valves of the engine to open and close in shorter periods of time during acceleration which allows less air to enter the engine, thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions. This engine is great if you intend to drive your new Ram on a fuel budget.
The TRX will be the only trim available in the HEMI V8 6.2-litre engine. This engine configuration will still outperform all of the 1500’s competitors as it’s rated as the fastest half-ton truck in the world. This monster of the road is designed for those who enjoy supercharged speed and acceleration. The Ram also does very well when it comes to hauling capabilities.
This truck can haul a maximum load of 12,750 pounds and carry a total maximum load of 2,300 pounds. This can be done in different cab and bed styles. Depending on your needs, you can purchase this truck in a 1.95m bed Crew Cab, or a 1.73m Crew Cab, or the 1.95m Quad Cab.

With loads of space to store small items and passengers, you’ll also get a snazzy Uconnect5 system, a 30.48cm full-colour touchscreen, Bluetooth, navigation capabilities, and an Alexa personal assistant.
